Be careful with this one; it is very convincing. I received a text message claiming to be Wells Fargo Fraud Alert and asked if I recognized a charge. After replying "N" I got a second message asking me to call this number. After calling, I was prompted by a very convincing recorded message and interactive call menu system to enter my full CC info. That was really the only mistake they made. Asking for full info like that is absolutely never done by any legitimate institution.

This number called posing as a Wells Fargo fraud alert. A male voice. AND the info on this message listed three actual fraudulent charges that had been made. I gave my zipcode then thankfully realized I needed to call Wells Fargo. After talking with each cc department, I discovered which card had fraudulent charges. There were several made to Apple totaling well over $3,000.

Text Message from 22981: "Please reply Y if you recognize $50.19 @Yoli LLC from Wells Fargo Card ****. Else reply N. STOP to stop msgs. I Replied N Next text said: "Thank you for your reply. The card has been blocked for security. Call 833-237-1249 immediately. STOP to stop fraud alert msgs" The number to call is NOT Wells Fargo, Recording wants you to input your credit card info. THIS IS A FRAUD ALERT
