Claims to be Meridian Financial Services, Inc. It is a robocall leaving a message on a voicemail system. It is left on a cell phone. This company calls several times a day. They have been asked to stop collection of an account that never existed, and I will continue to report the prerecorded message to the national do-not-call-registry. It is illegal for anyone to leave a prerecorded message in the U.S. This phone number is not even associated with Meridian Financial Services, Inc. The prerecorded message provides the toll-free number for a company named Meridian Financial Services, Inc. This caller is another scam. Do not provide information. The caller does not even ask for a person by name, they randomly call. Sometimes no message is even left. To report them to the do not call registry call 1-888-382-1222. Even if your number is not listed with the do-not-call registry, these illegal prerecorded messages may be reported. Keep a log of the calls, times, dates, and everything as well as continue to report them to the National Do Not Call Registry, and the Federal Trade Commission. This is illegal activity. To my knowledge this phone number is not associated with Meridian Financial Services, Inc. I am not associated with the company, and am not even familiar with the company and could be wrong about the number's association with Meridian Financial Services, Inc. I do not owe any money to the company. It is not important, because it would be illegal to attempt to collect any debt in this manner, especially a debt from a person that never did business with the company and never heard of them until the harassing calls occurred.
