Fake Chase SCAM. Someone from Chase called to verify my credit card, they provide the last 4 digits and I should call them back at 800-955-9060, sounds legit except I do not have their credit card and no card with the same last 4 digits. I called Chase's customer service (the phone# on their website), they checked, no credit card under my SS#.

Received message from an individual identifying himself as Jericho from Chase Credit Card Operations regarding my United credit card. Gave me the last 4 digits of the account (which I actually closed a couple of months ago due to suspicious activity) and said they needed to “verify some information”. Instructed me to call 1 (866) 582-7130 ext# 6585090 Available M-F 9a-6p Eastern Chase Google identified the calling number as a credit card phishing scam. I called the number on the back of my credit card and ended up talking to the Fraud Dept who had no record of a call to me today concerning that account on behalf of Chase.

This is not a credit card scam, it is Chase card services.

This is a legitimate number. It is Chase banks and credit verification line. I dialed it back, identified myself without using my Social Security number, and in two minutes I got an email from the credit provider for my new account approval.
