I work for this company. Don’t listen to these people in the comments who aren’t able to understand the details of their debt because they refused to provide a second identifier. Just like a person can call and ask for your SSN, a person can say they’re the person we’re looking for and if we just give them your social, acct number, dob and address from the beginning, that’s a lawsuit for us. some foreign lady with an odd accent says she is with transworld systems... except that i have zero debt except for 1 mortgage and those payments have always been very prompt! she asks me to very my social number, name, and address. i tell her 'you are the one who called me, so prove to me that you really know who i am by providing some details about who i am and what exactly you are calling about!' i think this caught her offguard, she paused and then again asked for my ssn. so i reply, 'please tell me your full name and social security number first and i will tell you mine! oh wait, you are not even an american citizen, correct?' at that point, she hung up on me. if a debt collector cannot immediately tell you who they are and exactly why they are calling, then they are scammers! she sounded either indian or filipino... those two are the usual culprits posing as fake collecturds anyway!
