I get a text message from this number that seemed suspicious, claiming to be from Wellcare - called Wellcare, confirmed it was legit, but the texting was so poorly presented that it seemed like a scam, and many other recipients were also suspicious. Really a lousy job from Wellcare!

Regarding Above: Wellcare uses an AI-powered conversational text messaging program featuring a virtual assistant named "Ava" to send prescription refill reminders. While legitimate, these texts can appear suspicious, and some users have reported them as intrusive. Coincidentally, My local pharmacy employs someone named Ava whom I met!

Received the text described above (from "Ava"). Called the Wellcare Member Service # in documents received from them. The rep investigated. It's legit.
