Got a call from a caller named Chris who states he is from "the mortgage department" and no actual bank or lender name. He says it is a courtesy call and that my "file came up on their yearly audit for a potential lower interest rate and removing mortgage insurance". I no longer have mortgage insurance for the past 5 yrs, so definitely a scam. Beware.
