He left this spam message! “Hi this is Mark Jacobs calling from Goldman I'm one of the senior underwriters your application for funding came across my desk through our broker channel but I've been able to connect with anyone yet regarding that application wanted to see if you were still in need of financing for your business we just rolled out new programs that could potentially get you approved for more capital and better terms if you would give me a call back directly my line is 727-606-3311 again at 727-606-3311 I look forward to speaking to you soon and I hope you're having a great day…”

Pretty sure it’s a scam. I’ve had a no caller ID come in twice. This is the first time they left a message. It was 5:30 in the evening no personal details. Didn’t say anything about my name or business. Here is the transcript from the call “Good morning it's a Thursday morning this is Rob Friedman calling to hear from Goldman was reaching out to you just because I had saw that you were applying for funding through I believe it was one of our broker partners and we were able to approve your file for funding they stopped responding to us after we issued the approval and then I believe one of our funding specialist to reach out to you directly over the last few weeks and we didn't hear back from you either so I just want to reach out to you before we have that approval expire see if you were still in need of a little bit of capital for the business I'm working all day today if you wanna give me a call 727-214-1402 like to talk about it will probably be a little flexible see if we can get you a little more money a little longer term if that was the issue but if you wanna give me a call again Thursday 727214-1402 and this is Rob thanks…”

The prerecorded call came is as "Unknown" but my phone has a feature called Visual Voicemail that gives you the real phone number behind those scam numbers. I've gotten many calls from these people, who call themselves simply "Goldman" and do not give you their full corporate name: which by itself violates the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), 47 U.S.C. § 227. Their web site says their offices are in New York City here: https://www.gogoldman.com/ 40 Wall Street, 28th Floor New York, NY 10005 However, they're actually incorporated in Texas by notorious scammer Aaron Rian (ar@gogoldman.com): Texas SOS File Number 0804854383 Registered Agent Name AARON RIAN Registered Office Street Address 2451 W GRAPEVINE MILLS CIR SUITE 107 GRAPEVINE, TX 76051 Aaron Rian's companies regularly violate the TCPA in many ways, which is why he and they have been sued repeatedly.
