This call is from Allstate they may have your number by mistake but they often call me when my app is turned off asking me can I go assist a customer because I do roadside assistance for them. So it is not a scam you are just mistakenly being called asking to assist a customer unless possibly you have or you are doing roadside assistance I will just tell them to remove my number but it is a legit business I've been doing roadside assistance for them since 2012 to be honest I don't like them calling me when my app is not turned on because when my app is on me I'm working when it's not don't call me. I need my car towed to a mechanic and and so I contacted my road side assistance company to have my vehicle towed, however, someone from a fake tow company,727-540-2665, called asking me the type of and location of my vehicle. After my vehicle had been towed by a local tow company. The fake tow company calls me back stating that it’s going to cost me an extra $350 dollars that the road side assistance company will not cover because of some extra straps that needed to be used to tow the vehicle with. The fake tow company is obviously a scam. When I asked who was calling me they would not tell me their name or the name of the company.
