Rich and Ryan are the two "mortgage brokers" who answer the phone for "Brian." After asking them to remove my number and asking why the message from Brian claimed that they had spoken with me before about my mortgage, Rich proceeded to get cute. I asked why they are in the habit of lying to people about previous false conversations, Rich answered by saying that he lays down every night and prays to the Lord. Then suddenly he starts yelling at me, lying once again, about something I didn't actually say. Rich start calling me a devil's child, etc. What the Lord and his or my beliefs have to do with mortgages, I'll never know. But if this is how potential borrowers are treated, with deception, lies, name calling, unprofessionalism, and histrionics, I wouldn't let near any of my personal and private information to refinance my existing mortgage with "the best rates in the country." (Yes, this is another false claim that was made in the voice mail left by "Brian.") I'm not sure what kind of business plan that Rich and Ryan have but perhaps the FTC can help them develop a better business plan.
