Texted me "Do you see me?" Then "James has contacted you. Please take a moment to check your messages for any updates." I asked who this was and got this: "Sorry, we are not sure who you are trying to message. If you are trying to contact someone on an Uber trip, please ensure that you are sending this message from the phone number associated with your Uber account."
