This # called , didn't leave any message. Caller ID sais its from social security, won't let you call back sais its an outbound line. The US government wouldn't call in the 1st place like this. They send notice by mail before calling, & they never ask for bank information, they start by asking security questions.!! Total scam.!!

3 rapid calls in a row from this number until I answered the 4th thinking it was emergent. Call from this line stating that the NC SSA office now has a GA #, no way to verify caller was a real agent other than call and hold for hours if I could even get through. Said this would hold up or cancel my case, better to give her all my income info over the phone. No in person appointments available and discouraged me from walking in. I hung up.

This number called me saying I was accused of stealing money from my son when I was his disability payee 7 years ago. I spoke with my son, who claimed he has never said anything like that. He tried to call the number himself, and said the number wouldn't go through and that it could only be used as a call out number and the call hung up on him. I did not give out any information other than my address, which is public information, but as far as any personal information, like banking information and or social security numbers, I did not give out that information. Local authorities have been notified.

Received a call from this number claiming to be from the Social Security Administration. The caller used aggressive language and threatened legal action if I didn’t provide my personal information. This is 100% a scam — the real SSA will never call and demand sensitive information or payment over the phone. If you receive a call from this number, do not answer or engage. Block the number and report it to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or SSA Office of the Inspector General. Red flags: • Threatening arrest or suspension of your SSN • Asking for bank or SSN information • Demanding payment via gift cards, wire transfers, etc. Stay alert and protect your information.

Number from Georgia leaving an unorthodox message claiming they were from where I was and would call back tomorrow. As the first person who left a comment on this number said, they even call while the real SSA is closed, and they won't contact by phone first like this.
