"Agent Alex Eduardo" called and asked to speak to my doctor/dentist urgently. He continued on about her DEA and LIC# being used fraudulently. Said "agent" did have a very heavy accent, and there was a lot of background noise. I asked for a good call back number and he hung up on me.

The DEA will not call you if your credentials are being used suspiciously. This is a well known extortion scam where criminals impersonate DEA agents to steal money and personal information. The DEA issued several public alerts about this scheme. Scammers may call or email, but legitimate investigation or legal action will be in person or via offical letter. THIS IS A SCAM. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!

An agent from the "DEA" called and said that our Doctor's state license is being used to purchase narcotics. And wanted to speak to our Doctor. He gave a name and badge number but there were a lot of people speaking in the background.

An agent from the "DEA" called and said that our Doctor's state license is being used to purchase narcotics. And wanted to speak to our Doctor, when we called back, it said "the Google subscriber you are calling is unavailable." Seems strange that a DEA agent would be using a google number.
