This is Houchin's blood donation request line. It is a legit and crucial service utilized by all hospitals in Kern County. However, while it is not a scam, the amount of calls and texts they send it out is definitely spam. Their caller ID is a misnomer, "Healthcare". Also, this phone number isn't listed on Houchin's website, contributing to the cryptic nature of the calls from this number on first encounter. Call Houchin to request "do not call/text." If you have donated blood products to Houchin, you will be called by this number repeatedly!
