It’s a scam. I think in the past Blue Shield got hack and data was stolen, that’s how they got many information.

Called from a Blue Shield number, said that they were going to help me book my personal health visit offered through insurance and offered $50 gift certificate. Knew my name, date of birth, and insurer. Offered different contact information when I said I'd do it online (https://personalhealthvisit.com, 833-398-0302). Seemed sketchy so I avoided, but might be legitimately working with Blue Shield idk

Spoofed Blue Shield of California caller ID, they are not Blue Shield! Don't agree to anything or give them any info! Claimed to offer $50 for telehealth assessment, some company claiming to represent Blue Shield, they do not!

Claiming to be part of another company (I did't catch the name)that is affiliated with Blue Shield of California offering me a $50 gift card if I let a stranger claiming to be a nurse practitioner into MY HOME to assess MY HEALTH!! WTF???? I said no way! She said it is a service provided as an extra benefit to your health insurance! I said I have a doctor why would I want someone coming to my house offering me a $50 gift voucher and then she kept trying to get my date of birth so I hung up! She kept saying this isn't a scam! Yeah Right! Get Lost! Do NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION! Never give anyone your information over the phone!
