Received a call from a Chase Representative,claiming a fraudulent charge had been placed on my card for $900 out of California.I told him I didn’t bank at Chase.He immediately hung up on me.

Received a call from someone claiming to be from Chase Bank. Advised my card had been used in NYC and a Zelle payment was made to a subject. I advised I did not authorize any of these claims, The male caller provided me with a "case number 9296454618 and a CP500Z" and transferred me to a male subject who also advised there were 2 Zelle transactions and no mention. of a card transaction. I asked about what account these were linked to and he just said the primary account. Neither of the subjects ever said my name or addressed me by my name. I advised I was going to go into a local Chase Branch. I also had logged into our account which should no activity. They immediately hung up.

Similar experience to others. Young man presented himself as Chase rep based in Lombard Illinois (info that corresponds to info on phone). Gave his “name/operator number”. To create alarm & urgency warned of 2 pending large NYC zelle payments, which if paid money would be lost forever with no recourse. Provided “case number” for potential police report. Questioned my use of public WiFi and warn against that. Transferred me to “Zelle” to file a “cancel request.” “Zelle” asked for personal information.

Received a call from someone claiming to be working for Chase Bank stating that there was 2 suspicious zelle transactions from a I phone 13 pro in the Bronx NY. They asked a few basic questions. I don't have zelle on my phone and don't use mobile banking specifically for this reason. They gave me cancelation codes and transferred me to someone that monitors zelle transactions and that person seemed a bit off. The red flag was then they mentioned about a western union transaction. While on the phone with them I called my wife and had her log on to our account to check our account and she verified that there were no new transactions. I called them out for being scammers and they hung up on me.

They spoofed Chase and called to say someone opened an account with my name and number and supposedly did 2 Zelle transactions that I’d need a case Number to cancel. I don't use that bank or have a Zelle with them. I hung up after finding this information out. Tried to call the actual bank back but they were closed.

Supposedly from Chase about whether 2 Zelle transactions were authorized. I don't use Zelle or bank with my phone. At the end, was told a "Case ID number and 2 cancellation codes were available and I would be transferred to Zelle. I declined. I suppose, once transferred, I would be asked for personal info...

A mexican caller called me and said they were from Chase bank and if I authorized transaction from a Jennifer. I asked for the callers name they said Chris Perez and title he said Agent. Then hung up, scam call.

Called to tell me they were JP Morgan Chase Bank asking me to verify two money transfers from my everyday checking account. He could not tell me which bank had my everyday checking account so I told him I will have my bank cancel the transfer. Give them NO information to work with.

Same issue today. Two young males said they were from Chase and that I had to immediately log into my Zelle account to block two payments. Clearly scammers but frustrating that it shows up as “Chase” on caller ID and # is linked to an actual bank location in IL.
