Scam! They sent a letter to me saying they were going to put my account into chex systems for a 53rd account… unfortunately for these fools, I have never had a 53rd account…so I called and trolled them. I recorded the call and am now seeking compensation through my attorney who asked me to record them as they are in solid breach of consumer collection rights. KNOW YOUR RIGHTS! Do not pay these people a penny!

Same just a forever stamp said they were with bank of America demanding 1100. From me it said it was an escalation letter. I called and it sounded like someone on a cell phone driving then the put me on a hold to transfer to a caseworker , all she did was talk deeper I knew it was a fake and played their game

I too received a letter in the mail from this so called law office of Hoffman and Geller (debt collector pretending to be a law office), stating that I owed Wells Fargo $1,300 for an account from 2009. So Just for kicks I called the number and a very rude person told me if I didn't pay them today they would send my personal information to check systems and Wells Fargo will be shutting down my current account, and I would also not be able to get a bank account anywhere else. So Just for kicks, I called Wells Fargo's collections department and they said they have nothing on record for me owing them $1,300 at any time, and even if I did owe $1,300 from 2009, they would have for written it off long ago, being a debt from that many years ago. Wells Fargo said they don't do business with any debt collectors trying to collect debts that were owed from over 10 years ago. Especially when it falls off your credit after 7 years. But again, they told me there's nothing on their records that shows that anyway.

Received a letter From hoffman and Geller stating I owe wells fargo bank in 2017 and that I closed the account in good standing but still owe $1300. This is Bogus!!! They tried to get me to make a payment or they'll flag the credit bureau and closed my account. This is a Scam Do not send them any Money!!!

Received a letter in the mail from Hoffman Geller & Associates. Wells Fargo debt doesn't exist but they're demanding payment. It's addressed to my maiden name and the envelope has zero postal markings, just a forever stamp. There is zero license registered with this company online, none listed in the letter and the phone number (617) 830-3925 isn't tied to anything. THIS IS A SCAM!! DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY!!

The account number they had on it I remember being a checking account number that I did have, back in 2015. I searched up the address on the paper 100 Grandview Rd, Braintree, MA 02184 - and it is an Office ready for Lease. SCAM

Got a letter from Hoffman Geller stating I have account with Wells Fargo which I have never had. States that they’ll take legal action if I do not respond. But the phone number 1-617-830-2925 is a scam number. Not calling that number My lawyer also said that this is a scam . Do not call that number

I called and they actually verified the company - Hoffman Geller and Associates out of Braintree, MA. The account number they had on it I remember being a checking account number that I did have, but over 10 years ago. Any possible debt I could have had would have been taken care of at least that long ago. This is definitely a scam.
