trump needs donations for a new ear

610-486-5709 called me at 9pm on a Wednesday night. I didn’t answer and thought if they knew me they’d leave a message. Blocked my number and called back. A prerecorded message said “Thank you for calling us back. We are calling from your local non-profit organization. We are soliciting contributions from those in your area.” The message went on a little longer but you get the idea. I called back 3 times and no one picked up and only that message played. No non-profit organization in my area is going to call me at 9pm and cold call for a donation. They didn’t give the name of the so-called non-profit and that right there was a red flag. I guess scammers think that just saying “local non-profit organization” is supposed to mean something and that people would know right away what it is without having to give any more details. I doubt it was even a call from my area and was just a number that they use to get you to answer. Beware of this. I’ve blocked the number

When asked to I confirm my name I answered "I could be" the caller was annoyed and suggested I check my phone book. I never confirm my name unless the caller identifies themselve first
