Guys, this isn’t a scam number. I actually tried it. Sure, the reps might use American-sounding names and have foreign accents, but that’s pretty standard for most call centers these days, and AT&T’s no different. I talked to a guy who knew everything about my account—my name, address, phone number, even what I was paying. He offered to switch my fiber service from Verizon to AT&T. I didn’t have to give him any personal info, and the whole thing took maybe five minutes. About a week later, I got my AT&T modem, and the service has been way better than Verizon. I even got 3 months free plus AT&T reward cards. The rep I worked with was super nice, respectful, and not pushy at all. He eventually gave me his direct contact and now he’s my go-to customer care rep.

Receiving multiple calls per day from people with fake American names all with slightly different scripts about AT&T services. It's a scam.
