I received a voicemail from +1 (571) 569-6224 claiming to be from the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The caller identified herself as Veronica Blackwell, examining officer and left the following message:
"Hey, this is Veronica Blackwell examining officer with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. I tried connecting with you in reference of a trademark application. This call was to verify and finalize the declaration related to trademark application, but I couldn't get a hold of you so can you return my call at 571-200-0443 and I'll be happy to assist you. It's Veronica Blackwell thank you so much."
When I returned the call, the individual had detailed knowledge of my recent trademark filings, as well as my business address and phone number, and attempted to pressure me into paying $575 per mark for international protection. She then tried transferring me to a fake finance department. I hung up, blocked the number, and immediately filed FTC Report
