This number itself it not a scam or robocall number. It's just Uber Eats masked number to protect drivers from revealing their personal numbers when contacting customers. For those complaining about being scammed, I suspect this is behavior on the part of individual drivers going rogue, and/or a different customer mistakenly giving a number 1 digit off or something that happened to be their number. In the case where you actually got scammed by someone calling/texting from this number, better to report the driver to Uber and request a refund, rather than marking the number as spam. Just as you presumably wouldn't mark, say, Amazon's general customer service number as spam just because a particular customer service rep gave you a bad experience or even went rogue and tried to scam you.

Just seems to be the masked number Uber uses to disguise driver's personal numbers when they call you. Same number has shown when I've received calls from different Uber eats delivery drivers for various different orders. Not spam and not a robocall either. Just the delivery driver calling about your order.

This person calling could be a mentally schizophrenic man that’s heavy set, had a beard and goes by the name of Michael Cestare coincidentally he is an actual DoorDash/Uber driver. He falls from NY possibly and I have proof he is an Uber driver. It’s weird because when he called he blocks your number automatically I think when he doesn’t hear a custom voicemail is when he blocks.

I am an uber eats driver. This person called and told me to cancel my current order and to not cash out my money or make any changes to my uber account. They claimed to be part of the Uber team and they want to verify my identity. I called Uber support.. PLEASE BE AWARE THIS IS NOT UBER AND THAT THIS PERSON IS TRYING TO HACK YOUR ACCOUNT. The only way that Uber ever verifies you identify is via the uber driver app (taking a photo of yourself/ uploading documents) Change your password and cash out what ever money you have.
