This company (Marriott) uses legit numbers spoofed to make you think it's a legit call. I usually ignore them, however occasionally, I ask that they remove me from their call list, this usually results in them hanging up. sometime I get immediate calls from the same area code, other times it is a day or two later. When I call this number back, they try and continue to sell me vacation time. when I bring up removing my name from their list, they immediately hang up.
