Will call from random numbers and to request to call back at 1-866-862-8289. Left an automated voicemail stating they need me to call them regarding them collecting a debt and stated they can be reached at the 866 number or some online website to reach them. They also stated in voicemail that if you wanted to be taken off their list to call them to do so. Americollect does pop up looking like a legitimate website, however I have seen tons of robocallers for this and people who have said they have received this very same issue. I have also seen people who have tried to contact them to tell them to not contact them back, but then they would call even more than before or those who have called to ask what debt it is in regards to and the "company" would not give them that information and making demands to obtain their social security information. I also looked things up and noticed there is a lawsuit (or 2) against them, site is: https://www.suethecollector.com/americollect-inc/ (may hafta copy and paste in web browser). I have not tried to call them back as I am trying to avoid the harassment and just blocked the call. Definately a scam, do not give them your information!!
