They called an old number that is used for my business (Not published). I called them back asking what they wanted. They indicated that they were a debt collection agency and asked for confirmation of my ID via my birthdate. I gave them nothing and requested that they tell me what they were calling me out on. They said that they are a private debt collection group that supposedly bought out a list of old Shaw customers who were behind in payments. They said that I owed money to Shaw from 22 years ago. My number is newer than this time, and I've been a Shaw customer since 1994 and never had an account issue. Go Figure.
