I had to have my payment card replaced but forgot to update the new card details for my subscription to the SF Chronicle newspaper. This was just a courtesy call to update my payment card details.

This was the fourth call I’ve received from this number in a week, but it’s the first time I answered. On the other end, it sounded like a call center or office. A woman with an accent that sounded Filipino asked to speak to me, but the call dropped as she was saying my name.
