My DNCL registered, phone book unlisted private line received a recorded message from this unknown, out of area number. They identified themselves as "Care Connect" and claimed to be from Blue Shield. The message said that they have reserved a date for my annual appointment and all I needed to do was call back to 323-391-3922 or the number they called from to confirm what time works best. Blue Shield is a medical insurance company not a medical provider. Medical insurance companies try to limit their financial obligations not voluntarily spend their money. Obvious scam/possible phishing attempt. BTW, Blue Shield is not my medical insurance provider.
