Got an automated message reminder about an appt - second or third I've received in the last month or two - without having contacted them previously. Says "someone with this phone number has an appt with an SSA representative" via automated voice message. No other information was provided nor asked for. Could be an error on someone's account where my number is mistyped in and listed, or it could be a scam. Either way, be careful :)

Called but never left a message. When called back the number forwards to two voicemail boxes that claim to be full. This is a spoofed number and more than likely a scam. SSI typically sends communications by snail mail and not from a generic number.
