Phone number came in as “NSIB - +1 (405) 876-4015“. A quick Google search says that is registered to the Caribbean and that they let the phone ring once, hoping you’ll call back, thinking it’s a possible government acronym. The scammer then charges you an extortionate amount of money as an International call, with a .gov site stating that there’s been amounts reported as high as $500. DO. NOT. CALL. BACK. Simply block this number and never let the temptation to call these unknown numbers back. Google the number always first. PRO TIP: When googling an unknown number, use two different edits. Example: 1a) (405) 876-4015; AND/OR 2b) 405-876-4015 Don’t let the curiosity kill the cat— always google first.
