Received notification that a charge was made on one of my credit cards by "AMAZON RETAIL + 14018657948 98109 USA FOR $51.61". Which I did not charge. I tried to call the number but it doesn't ring. Just dead air. My caller ID says the number is calling Providence, RI.

There's a charge on my mother's card saying Purchase Amazon Retail. Phone number 401-865-7948. I called the number. It doesn't ring, it's silent. I checked my moms Amazon order history and there is no history of this purchase. Contact your bank immediately!!!!

This is real, I thought it was a scam too but I contacted customer support and they explained to me that it was a subscribe and save charge for something I forgot to cancel. The phone number thing is weird though, I tried calling it and it wouldn't even ring for me

Received charges to my bank showing: AMAZON RETAIL +14018657948 WA - AUTH GRANTED. I've never seen a phone number in an amazon charge before.
