I received a phone call which appeared to be from Liberty Mutual. I declined the call so they texted me offering to give me an auto quote. I said I was busy. I said call Friday (Black Friday). They daid their office would be closed. It sounded legit. I said call Monday, they said they would call Monday at 7 pm. 10 min. later , Immediately afterwards, I get 2 other calls and texts offering to give me a quote on a car I don't own. My husband said it was probably a scam and after researching the phone number in Google and being sent directly here, it was definitely WAS a scam! A non-English-speaking lady called and when she mentioned the make/model of the car, I told her someone must be using my name because I don't have that car, and when I asked her what website directed her to call me to quote auto insurance, see the insurance, she Immediately hung up on me! I blocked all if them.
