Caller said they were with Velapoint Insurance, “an Allstate company,” “responding to a request for medical coverage” (not true). Said they would be happy to help us find a plan. Number given was 877-434-1904 but caller ID said 336-435-3709. They are either trying to obtain personal information or trying to scam older people into buying a Medicare Advantage plan.

Says they are responding to a recent request for insurance quote. I've made no insurance inquiries. This is actually the second call from this place but it's a different number. They are a legit company with bad reviews.
