Caller: "TSI" or "Transworld Systems, Inc." Industry: Debt Collection and associated BPO Called the phone number, and was routed directly to an agent. The system answered very quickly, and seems very professional. They said they are working for TSI (tsico.com), which does business process outsourcing, including debt collecting and loan servicing. They appear to use ANI (caller ID) customization, so that the call looks local to whomever receives it. This is their New York area number, but they also call with similar numbers like 332-278-4512, 332-278-4375, 332-278-4468 and so on. TSI maintains a list of local numbers for many areas, so people who have area codes in other regions will get TSI calling them from a nearby area code.
