This is for sure a collection call. I have been working with Penske for years and the 3rd party calls don't get easier. I wish Penske would not do this. They are not able to effectively help with billing issues and keep demanding payment status. This is not a spam or scam call. If this company is calling you have most likely rented a unit from them We rent trucks, vans and trailers. We do pay our vendors within terms so these calls can be irritating.

Beware of scam caller claiming to be Penske asking for accounts payable demanding money. We don't make purchases from Penske, we provide service to them and all payments are automatic through direct bank ACH.

Call from "Ronald" with east Asian accent asking for Accounts Payable. Said he is from Penske. Call back number is 888-289-5217 ext. 703395797 which does not work. Consistent with other scam reports.

Claimed we owed them money for a rental in California when we're based out of Illinois. When we told them we have a credit card on file they hung up.

Two different "agents" in the past two weeks. Saying my Penske account is overdue. And the name on the account is Christian Thompson...not even close to my name. These calls come to my work number. "Agents" give me an "American" name like Richard or Theresa but their accent and and looser grasp of English than a resident would have make it pretty clear they are not calling from this continent. (those statements are solely for the purpose of exposing the scam and not a comment on a law abiding person's ability to learn another language or reside in a country other than their birth) Call back number they give is an 888 number that also shows up on scam report sites.
