I was called after questioning a Facebook about an advert and a bill, which is handled by Meta. So when the phone rang I was reasonably sure it was safe. He never asked for any details about accounts or money, so I can only assume it was a legit conversation.

I'm not sure of the experience of the other comment claiming hacker, but perhaps a Karen assumption? I received a legit call from this number from Meta customer support. I had reached out to support via chat prior and they asked to call to continue the conversation and it was the same person from this number. No hacking, just support.

I don't think it's a scam, it's Facebook support. Although I'm not 100% sure.
