Summary: I received two tax related calls back to back after filing in March, receiving the refund in April, and it's almost June. This cannot truly be from TaxAct. Both calls were sent directly to voicemail by my phone's spam protection. May 27th At 8:00 a.m. on the dot (it's illegal for companies to call you before 8:00 a.m. just FYI) my phone's automatic spam protection sent this call directly to voicemail. It was a robocall that said, "Your electronic return was accepted by the internal revenue service. Congrats on finishing your taxes this year. Thank you for using TaxAct and we hope to see you next year." Yes, I used TaxAct. But, I filed my taxes in the first week of March. My bank received the federal return, mid April. Plus, I have NEVER received a phone call from TaxAct (or anything having to do with my taxes). I've been using TaxAct for 13 years. 14 minutes after this call, My phones spam protection sent another call to voicemail. It was quite long and from a different phone number. I'm sure it was another robocall, but sounded like a real person. It spoke about taxes and starting this year, you can qualify (for whatever) if you're late in filing your taxes or can't pay them. I wish I hadn't erased it so I could quote it. This IS NOT from TaxAct. This is a scam.

Notification that my Tax Return was accepted by the IRS. Also received an email. Not sure why they called also.
