February 22, 2021
It's the CDC - not a scam. Just annoying. Ask to be put on "no call list" and they'll stop calling. That or do the survey for them if you qualify(they pay 10$)... if you don't, they also stop calling.

December 22, 2020
This is one of three numbers used by the CDC for its National Immunization Surveys. The other numbers are (312) 871-4241 and (312) 871-4242
December 5, 2020
So they have called me every day practically. At 8 pm and even on Sunday. The guy with heavy breathing is a master at this stuff. He gives you the impression that a crisis is happening in your household. He's extremely good. Would love to learn that gift of gab. Might make me a good salesman. What he does is when you reply with not interested he ignores and asks you another question. He's on your head. It's life or death like feeling questions. Makes you spooked and worried that somethings going on and he's here to resolve it. Fire!!

*NOT A SCAM* This number kept calling, I finally decided to answer. It was a survey for the CDC (National Immunization Survey). They’ll ask simple questions about the children in your home and later ask for permission to obtain immunization records. I have done this survey before.

Appears to be legitimately a survey on behalf of CDC based on the confirmation of information on CDC NIS website, but still unwanted robocall.

This number keeps calling and calling every week, but if answered, there is silence (or someone other people talking in background). Appears to be an automated robo call, perhaps legit for CDC but they shouldn't call prepaid numbers that use up our minutes and then not have a human on the line. Suggest you BLOCK this number.

January 16, 2020
Caller when asked said that he was calling on behalf of the Federal Govt. CDC. The toll free number that is left by the contractor is also referenced on the CDC web site. When I acknowledged that I had no persons relevant to the vacination survey in my house. The call was politely ended. Considering all the anti-vaxers out there, this is probably an important survey.

Thought it was a scam but after the 3rd time I listened and it was a real person along if children between certain she's lived in the house. But my kid didn't qualify and she asked if there was any questions if so to call certain number. I'm pretty sure it was a legit call lady was respectful and answered questions I had. But did sound like a robo call at first.

These scammers hate RoboKiller and I just love it. Glad I’m not them.🤣
August 31, 2019
Said she was calling from CDC, as above. It was a real person, and she called my office number. Took my number off the list since it was a business. Looks like this is a real survey.
August 30, 2019
Surprisingly, it seems to be legitimate. Unlike those who got weird voicemail recordings when they called back, I got one that corresponded with what they said on the phone.
August 28, 2019
I hung up as soon as I heard the delay
August 28, 2019
This is NOT a scam. I thought it was a scam, too, even when it popped up as a legit CDC survey. I went to the official CDC website and tracked the number down re: vaccine surveys they are conducting. You can dial the Center for Disease Control/National Institute of Health directly from numbers provided by the website. Of course, you do not have to participate. https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/imz-managers/nis/participant/faqs.html

CDC??
August 12, 2019
The voicemail was someone in the background who didn't say anything, then just hung up. But, some others have said they want to know if there's any young children living at your home? This sounds like a kidnapping or child predator ring. Why would anyone ever give that info to a stranger? Someone should probably report this phone number to someone if that's really the question this caller is asking.
