Power outage

We had a legitimate power outage in our area and the calls were to update us on the restoration time.

On 24 January 2024 I reported this as a probable scam. It was actually the utility company advising of an probable power outage, but they were having issues with leaving messages so it initially had the appearance of a scammer but it ended up being validated as legit. Sorry for the confusion.

probable scam. although I am signed up to be contacted by ComEd if in the event that there is a power outage, there is no power outage now nor per their website is one planned in my area. they do not telemarket me as I have that option deselected on my user profile.

I recieved a call from this number and everytime i didnt answer it called me right back. This is a scammer because even when i picked up but hung up midway through the message they would call back. They claimed to be from comed but im no longer with comed and they were calling about outages and wanted me to connect to a representative on a saturday. These are scammers please do not fall for it. Comed has never called me about outages if i had an outage i called them and they would tell me then but they never ever called me about an outage and they damn sure dont keep callin if u domt answer the automated machine leaves a message and thats what every company does. It was a scammer
