Please disregard the bracketed comment below. My Amex was actually charged by So Cal Radio. So, no scam. ("I got a call from this number soliciting a one time donation for LAist radio (formerly KPCC) which i already donate to on a monthly basis. I gave the lady my cc number for a one time donation because I believed her. She said she did not need the security number (Am Ex) But I just decided to cross check the phone number and I think I slipped up there. Fortunately my card does not appear to have been charged.")

I got a call from this number soliciting a one time donation for LAist radio (formerly KPCC) which i already donate to on a monthly basis. I gave the lady my cc number for a one time donation because I believed her. She said she did not need the security number (Am Ex) But I just decided to cross check the phone number and I think I slipped up there. Fortunately my card does not appear to have been charged.
