Got into a car accident on Dec 29th, the police reports always take was made available today and now I’m getting texts from numbers who are not my insurance about assessing the damage to my car. Don’t answer/respond to these messages. Make sure you continue to work with your insurance company until they payout your claim.

Had vehicle accident recently, thought that the person texting me was the insurance company handling the claim which asked me to call them. So I did, thinking it was important. Nope, just a telemarketer which got ahold of my number apparently from police report. Also had a call from a second telemarketer company, which again, I thought was with the insurance company BUT was just trying to sell something. Thanks to police for making their reports which include private phone numbers public!
