American Red Cross asking for me to schedule a blood donation.

I regularly donate blood through the Red Cross. They call when the waiting period since your last donation has passed and you're eligible to donate again but haven't scheduled your next donation yet. It's not a scam - blood reserves are always low so yes they will call in hopes you'll donate again soon. So donate! You might need a transfusion some day!
