They called, I answered, that asked if I was (insert name here), I said, my name is (insert name here), and they hung up. This has happened to me multiple times. Instead of answering their question with a "Yes" answer I simply say "You are talking to (insert name here) and then they hang up. They are either following a script that requires me to respond "Yes" to their question and they hang up if I respond with anything other than "Yes". Or, this is the "Yes" Scam where they want you to say "Yes". They record you saying this and use this recording of your voice saying "Yes" when they try to gain credit at some credit card/bank website. Never say "Yes" to an unknown caller.
