Told me I needed a new router and it would cost $199. I told him that I have never purchased a router from Xfinity, and he told me he could discount it to $99 if I paid right then. At that point I knew it was a scam and told him I would go to a local Xfinity store and get a new router. I spoke with an actual Xfinity rep and they said they had no record of that call and that they would never ask for money for a router.
