Assuming (cat)phishing scam, but unsure how. Possibly previous # user or wrong #. Hubs received unsolicited OTP (one time pin) from unidentified source. Single TXT/SMS, supposedly to "continue credit application." No link or site or other directions, except to not share it with anyone. Neither of us have recently applied that we know of. Nothing showing on credit watch app (yet), but will be watching for a "pull" for next few days. WHEN: 8/10/24 @ 6:30 PM, Service provider: straight talk, area code: 423 Phone Status at time: at home, on, connected, idle, Action taken: replied stop, reported to VZN, blocked
