called and hung up when voice mail came on. Since I seldom use a credit card, don't understand why a legimate company would call. Also, a debt collector would leave a message because why would a debtor call back a no message left caller?

Scam. Calls multiple times and leaves voicemail in same manner. Why would a financial company be cold calling? Yes, they still do it but it is rare. Scam, scam, scam, scam.

Green checkmark next to number. Said Macquarie Funds on the caller ID. Googled the actual company and got a different number. I have never heard of asset fund management companies cold calling people. They left a voicemail message and repeated my name three times hoping I was listening to real time voicemail and pick up. Scammers trying six ways to Sunday to take your money, don't fall for it.

The call went directly to voicemail. "Hello this is Jane, may I please speak with ____". She pronounced the name in the blank 3 different ways before hanging up. By spoofing the Caller ID, she clearly has no reason to call other than to attempt to scam the recipient.

Caller "PHILADELPHIA PA" hung up when the call went to voicemail. But when I looked the number up? Got a bunch of hits for sites like this one -- INCLUDING this one -- flagging it as not safe (several said it was some sort of investment scam).
