A man called saying he is from Chase Bank, using a number from A branch in New York, DONT TRUST!! SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM!!

received call from 212-719-2180 gentleman stating he was with chase fraud department and someone was using my zelle acct. I went into chase branch and they told me they would never call for fraud they text or email. DO NOT TRUST

Got a phone call from two men claiming to be Chase - phone number they called from was the Chase in Times Square. They said I had two pending Zelle transactions from this morning that I needed to address. I said no, I don't have anything pending, there isn't anything on my account. They tried to claim "yes because they're pending" and I said, "Nope don't see anything, I'm sorry can you share more information about what is pending?" And then they hung up. Reported to actual Chase Fraud department.

Same as what everyone is saying. Got a call from this number saying they were chase fraud dept. calling about some Zelle transactions. I told them I didn’t have Zelle through Chase so they said they had to send me over to the Zelle rep to cancel the transactions. Once I said I was at the bank and will check it out they hung up. Big SCAM

I just received a call from someone claiming to be from Chase, stating that I had sent two Zelle payments to Jessica Martinez. I informed them that I had checked my account and found no signs of fraud. However, they insisted on helping me close my account and open a new one. When I mentioned that I would call my bank, they told me it would be the same situation; my bank would recommend closing the account and opening a new one. I suspected it was a scam, so I continued to engage with them to see what else they would say. Eventually, I told them I would go directly to my bank, and they hung up.

Caller said it was JPMorgan Chase and that someone tried to open account on this PHONE NUMBER. Said 2 pending zelle transactions to Juan Garcia (do I know Juan Garcia?) and was going to transfer to a "case agent" to cancel the zelle transactions (against an account that doesn't exist?). Hung up mid sentence and they had the nerve to call back immediately. Really?

Scam saying they were Chase Bank and someone had opened an account in my name with 2 charges pending on Zelle. Gave me the address (not a real address) where the person who tried open the bank account was. Transferred me to their "Zelle Fraud Department." He then wanted me to open up my Zelle and said he was going to help me by putting on additional security protocol. I realized this wasn't right and hung up to call the Chase number on the back of my card. They confirmed it wasn't them. I think they were going to do the "pay yourself" Zelle scam. Scary. Beware

Charles Smith called from Chase Bank saying Zelle Fraud on my account, would give any information, transferred me to Alex Martinez at Zelle, refused to give me any information but wanted me to provide information as I has 2 pending transactions and I reported this and i should have a case number. As I told the fake Charles Smith and the fake Alex Martinez, i know you are a scammer and i am recording this call and reporting you to FTC. All people should document as much as they can the number, names, times and report to FTC as I do.

They called stating they were from Chase and that someone tried to Zelle money from my mother’s savings account. They asked me to transfer her money to her checking account to “protect” the money she has in her savings. They said I had 7 minutes to transfer the money otherwise a Zelle payment of $2000 was going to go through. I hung up on them. Seemed aggressive.

Pretended to be Chase rep. Told me somebody opened a bank account in my name and there are also 2 zelle transactions pending. Tried to transfer me to some other dept. I told him I will call chase directly. He treatened that the transactions with zelle will go through right now. I said fine, I will not give him any info and will call chase directly. After that I hanged up on him. Checked the account - nothing suspicious.
