I kept getting calls from a guy with a Polish accent who was calling from 212-596-1400, claiming that $6,000 was removed from my bank account. He asked me to verify if the transaction was legitimate and said they would send me a new card. However, I knew something wasn’t right because when I checked my bank account, everything was fine. I looked up the number and saw that it’s associated with a bank in New York. However, it seems like someone hacked their way into using the same number to scam people out of money. Please be aware! Turn off your cards and contact your bank directly to confirm if any fraud has occurred on your account.

Bank

experiencing repeated phone calls from the number 212-596-1400 throughout the day.The caller ID indicates that the calls are coming from Wells Fargo; however, I have reason to believe these are spoofed calls. I have received multiple calls from this number, and each time the caller claims to be a representative of Wells Fargo, asking for personal information related to my accounts. I am concerned about the potential for identity theft and the misuse of my personal information, as these calls are not legitimate. I would appreciate your assistance in looking into this matter. It is troubling to receive calls that seem to impersonate a reputable institution, and I would like to ensure that my personal data is protected from any fraudulent activity.
