Someone just called me and said someone was trying to make a transaction via zelle from my chase account. As soon as they realized it was not the account holder (a man) they hung up.

Called with a number 212 533 0554 and identified the account that attempted to transfer money to a lady in Pennsylvania. He asked how much the balance was on the savings account, and I answered $1, then he hung up.

Told me Jose Domingo in Long Beach CA had tried to set up a new Chase account and taken 2 withdrawals of 2000 & 3000. Said he’d asked for SMS verification to my # but when no response given they flagged the issue as suspicious. I asked when the code was sent (11/21) - no code received so my guard went up. Gave me case # and police report # and void codes so we could block and prevent fraud and further access to accounts. Then transferred me to the “Zelle fraud escalation line”. Lady w British accent had me enter in my name & the case number which happened to be 10 digits and came up as a Maria Recino. I had to transfer the amount and the duplicate would then block the original. Maria was the “case manager”. Very aggressive when I started questioning this. I said I didn’t have sufficient funds in the account after more arguing and transfer back to “Corey Wilson” & then transferred back to her, the Line got disconnected. “Corey Wilson” called me back from. The Chase number. Realized I didn’t have the $$ and told me to come into the branch tomorrow to sort out. But you could tell he was no longer interested. Quite clever w the transfers and the British accent. Lucky I was broke!

Claime to be Chase spewing that a Jesse O'Niell in Arlington, Texas has used my Chase credit for 490 and 2200 in purchases. LOL. And, they were gonna help be put a stop to it, and get the money back. LOLOLOLOL....that is not how Chase does this folks. First off, they never give out names to perps. Secondly, they never conduct themselves like the scumbag did. I told him a few things about his mommie, and that I would break his neck when I catch up to him, then I hung up on this POS. Poor POS was so pissed off he attempted to call me back before I blocked him. LOLOLOLOLOL Sucks being a scumbag.

Received three calls today from 212-533-0554, each time the caller had a heavy accent and there was noticeable background chatter. They were asking for personal financial details. When I called the number back, it seemed to connect to a legitimate Chase Bank line, which makes me think this is a case of number spoofing. Be cautious ,definitely feels like a scam attempt.

No name came up with the call, which I missed, and I called back. This is a legitimate Chase number in NYC which scammers spoof to get you to answer. I had never received a call from this number, don't have any association with this branch, and never dialed it before today. I am sure it was a friendly scammer.

They identified themselves as a Chase representative and supervisor, and said that someone has just accessed my bank account and was about to withdraw money ($1,500, $2,000, and later today $15,000). They gave me cancellation numbers to reassure me that the transactions would be cancelled. Then they asked me to access my Zelle account to send money. As soon as I started asking questions, they hung up the phone.

Told me that Justin Hernandez opened a bank account, transfered money AND claimed my phone number as theirs. When I told him that my SSN was already locked and that I'll be calling my bank, the man on the phone got mad aggressive. Telling me, of you don't what the hell, this and that. Like, sir, you calling me with bad news, I have to inform the proper channels about this. Telling me I'm being transferred to a different representative, that Im gonna get 2 case numbers. Like what? Why am I disputing charges with you? I don't have an account with you. I will be disputing the charges via my own bank. And why am I only being allowed to dispute the charges and not the actual fucking account? Scamming ass

Fool called me trying to convince me that a checking account was opened at Chase Bank and attempted to link two transactions ($4,000.00 and $2,000.00) to a Zelle account. He said this account was flagged as fraudulent-originated at an IP address in Miami Florida and was linked to a person named Jessica Simmons. This fool also told me that he had a Zelle representative ready to cancel the new checking account and transactions or I can go to a nearby branch. Trust me I knew this was a scam but was curious to see if he would ask for personal information and he told me no. He thought he was building trust with me... I persisted-- I asked for his ID#, name, phone number etc. (Name: Felix / ID# F05431) He also told me I can call the number 212-533-0554 back. I ended the call, but I wanted to see how clever scammers are. \ GET THIS: I called the number back and it was a CHASE RECORDING--just as if you were calling Chase Bank! I hung up and called the number in my own records to verify that it was indeed a scam. IT WAS A SCAM--like I believed but needed to verify. The authentic Chase representative told me that scammers copy their recordings and that phone number 212-533-0554 is NOT A CHASE PHONE NUMBER. Be careful everyone....

I wasted his time ngl by making him talk for 12 minutes and got more information out of him: the person using this number goes under the identity of “Johangel Rodgriguez” with the phone number of (401-699-4738). He got pressed when I confronted him near the end and hung up on me entirely. Flood his lines so he can’t steal from innocent people
