212-497-0000 called on Saturday, September 6 informing me that they suspect I had a fraudulent transaction occur via Zelle to someone called Laura Perez in the amount of over $2,000. I'm almost sure there's no way you can send that amount of money via Zelle, and I told him that's not possible. He proceeds to ask me if he's speaking to [former last name], and I somewhat lied and told him no, and they hung up on me.

Was told there was fraudulent charges from my account going to zelle, I don't have chase bank at all. Went ahead with the bit, wasted their time. Kudos to the scammer for having the patience to deal with my bs lmaoo

He told me someone had opened a Chase account in my name & that a man named Jose in California was trying to take money out of my account via Zelle. He gave me a case number & 2 cancellation numbers to cancel the Zelle transactions. He was going to transfer me to the Zelle rep but the call was dropped.

212-497-0000 called me to say I had charges to my account. I immediately hung up. I called my bank, which is Chase and they have no record of any charges or any Chase Bank contacting me. The customer this number is a scam.
