same thing. 3 different numbers, I answered one. Someone opened a cc in my name, gave me last 4 digits (no matching to anything I have), purchased just under $3K guns in NYC and they gave a NYC address. She was going to forward me to the NY PD for investigation. I said I would call myself, asked for the number. She gave me a number. I said: for which borough. She had no idea even what a borough was. I kept her on the phone so long advising another person what was going on that she hung up on me. They tried calling back but I ignored.

My call just now was from an Indian sounding lady who told me that someone took out a JP Morgan Chase credit card out in my name and purchased firearms with it. The address they gave me was 145 Amsterdam Ave, NY, NY. They had my current address, but for some reason, didn't know I lived in Florida. They offered to escelate the matter and have me speak with the local police department to file a report. They said they could transfer me to the closed police department. Again, I live in Florida. I didn't let them get to the point where I'd give them any information and just hung up. Then, I received 3 different calls from 3 different telephone numbers within a minute, trying to get me back with them.
