Trying to get me to go to the capital on 1/16/21

Left message about an upcoming meeting in NYC for current and candidate Borough Presidents (local elections being held next year.) This is a legit political call.

There should be a way for people to identify themselves as the call... so that if people WANT to participate, they can. you know, caller ID was invented like 40 years ago. and yes, it can be spoofed, but Bernie's call was advertised and talked about on the news. Shouldn't block this call automatically, or should allow people to opt in (bypass the block) in advance, or something.

I did not hear this call, saw that the number showed up a few times, and as I am a Bernie/Medicare for All supporter, now understand why I was called and appreciate the folks here who identified it.

A politician who evidently thought it was a good idea to robocall and livestream to anyone who picked up and stayed on the line. Since I was unaware of the call, and Robokiller was playing its answer bot, this call went on for several minutes with the politician talking, until someone apparently realized what was going on and got me shunted off to elevator music. I do not know who eventually ended the call. Probably Robokiller shouldn’t let open lines with the bot talking go on for more than 3 or 4 minutes, and should just cut the call off after that interval.

This is not a scam! The caller is from the organization Our Revolution that is part of Senator Bernie Sanders our next President of United States in 2020! Bernie is going to help all of us. I has never been about him. He does not have a Pac or take money from greedy corporations. In fact! One Billionaire sent him a donation that he promptly sent it back. HIs campaign is about the people, it is a grassroots organization. If you remember President Roosevelt you will know more about Bernie. While Roosevelt was a great President, even though he was wealthy he cared about everyday people. Bernie (who is not a Billionaire( has actual plans that will help everyone! He has never changed his beliefs in 40 years. Amazon Jeff Bezos asked Bloomberg to run for President about a week ago. Bezos and Bloomberg alone are worth 52 Billion. The Waltons who own Wallmart are also Billionaires. Amazon and Wallmart treat their employees like trash. They paid zero in taxes and expect their employees to get help from their state Governments. Bezos had three people die at one of his workplaces. Their is a lot more to explain about these greedy crooks. If you are interested you can find the information online.
