When I called back he had my name. Order to suspend my social number because of fraudulent activity. He hung up when I asked if he had proof.

Scam Caller
October 21, 2019
They left a voicemail saying they were going to begin the legal process. I called back, knowing it was a scam. On the second ring, an Indian man answered saying "Social Security Administration, how may I help you?" I told them this number called my phone. They asked me to confirm my name, DOB and Social security number. I told them I would not provide that information, and they would have that already since they called me. They said they did not. I asked for identification, they provided a name - Michael D. Robinson, badge number 23597. He asked again for me to provide my social security number, I refused. He then stated "Fine, then we are sending a sheriff to your doorstep right now." I laughed and said "you're a joke." And he hung up. This has happened before with a different number, but the number was shut off when I called back a second time. I called back again, and an Indian woman answered. I told her she's working an illegal operation, and she hung up on me. I called a third time to see if I could get more information from them. Another gentleman answered. I refused to provide information and informed them they are running illegal activity, this is not the social security administration, and they need to shut it down before it was reported. He said "how can you say we are illegal. We are not, we are about to suspend your social security number." I told him that's not a thing, and he hung up. I really hate that these are happening, and worse yet - people believe them and provide their information. If ANYONE ever leaves you a voicemail saying they are beginning a legal process from a robocall, and then you call back and they actually answer and say "Social Security Administration" or "Internal Revenue Service", please don't believe them...
